This application has been filed by the respondents no.2 and 3 seeking condonation of delay of 60 days in filing the status report. 2.
For the reasons stated in the application, the application is allowed and the delay in filing the status report is condoned. 3.
The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to respondents no. 1 to 3, to take action against respondents no. 4 and 5, for carrying out construction on the land falling within the O-Zone area of riverbed of Yamuna/river front, partially in the plot of the petitioner, situated in Khasra No. 738, Revenue Estate of Village Madanpur Khadar, Tehsil The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

A status report has been handed over in the Court today. The same is taken on record.

In the status report, it has been stated that after following due process of law, demolition order was passed on 4th February, 2026. Subsequently, on 16th March, 2026, the demolition orders were executed in the following manner:
"That on 16/-03/2026, answering executed demolition orders. During said program, answering respondent cut down RCC roof (02 panels) of first floor, 02 panels on RCC roof of second floor and 02 panels of RCC roof of third floor. Apart from it, 01 RCC slab of projection on government land each at first floor, second and third floor were also cut down and rendered the structure in uninhabitable condition. Photographs showing the demolition of structure, as stated above are annexed herewith as Annexure-E (Colly). Pursuant to above actions, the answering respondent issued watch and ward letter bearing No. D-727/AE(B1dg.)-II/ Central Zone/2026 dated 16/03/2026 to SHO/PS-Kalindi Kunj for necessary instruction to patrolling staff for watch and ward so that owner may not able to restore the demolished structures"

Photographs have been filed along with the status report to show that extensive demolition action has been taken by respondent no.2/ MCD. 7.
Taking note of aforesaid action taken on behalf of respondent no.2/ MCD, the present petition stands disposed of. 8.
Liberty is given to the petitioner to take appropriate legal remedies in the event the petitioner has further grievances. 9.
All rights, contentions, and legal remedies of the private respondents are kept open.
