Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner for grant of Parole for a period of four weeks during the present conviction year with exemption from Rule 1212 of the Delhi Prison Rules, 2018.

Learned ASC on behalf of the State, submits that the Parole for four weeks has already been granted vide Order dated 20.12.2025. 6.
Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the wife is in the ninth month of pregnancy and the due date of delivery is 20.01.2026 and therefore, four weeks Parole may be granted.
Submissions heard and the record perused.

Since the Parole has been granted for two weeks, there is no ground to interfere at this stage. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to seek extension of Parole if the circumstances so justify and the Jail Authority may consider it sympathetically.

The Petition is disposed of accordingly.
