The limited relief sought by the petitioner in the present petition is that the appeal filed by the petitioner bearing diary no.2185/2025, which is pending before the Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal (DRAT) be taken up for urgent hearing.

During the course of hearing it transpires that the abovementioned appeal is listed for hearing before the DRAT on 05.01.2026. 5.

Given that the appeal is already listed on 05.01.2026, it shall be open to the petitioner to request the DRAT to take up the said appeal for hearing on priority.

Needless to say, the auction of the concerned property shall be subject to further orders of the DRAT.
