The present petition has been filed by the petitioner praying as under - "a) Allow this petition and issue a Writ of mandamus or any other appropriate Writ/ order/ direction against the Respondent thereby setting aside the impugned common addendum to Advertisement No. 06/2025and 12/2025 issued by respondent no.1 outlining common scheme of the examination;

b) Direct the respondent no.1 to declare the result under the present scheme of examination subject to outcome of this writ petition by keeping one seat vacant for the petitioner;

c) Pass any other order/relief which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the present case." At the outset, learned counsel for the respondent/s, who appears on advance notice, objects to the maintainability of the present petition, inasmuch as it is incumbent upon the petitioner to approach the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) at the first instance, in terms of Section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985.

There is merit in the aforesaid contention.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the CAT for appropriate relief. 7.
