Mr. Abhishek Aggarwal, counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant, does not press this application, subject to liberty being granted to the applicant to take appropriate remedies in law available against the outcome of the regularisation application by the petitioner. 2.

Accordingly, the present application is disposed of as not pressed, while giving liberty to the applicant to take appropriate remedies that may be available in law.

In terms of the status report, it is stated that there are deficiencies in the regularisation application filed by the petitioner, which have been communicated to the petitioner vide letter dated 18th March, 2026. 5.

In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of with the following directions:

5.1.

The petitioner shall rectify the deficiencies pointed out by the respondent/MCD in the aforesaid communication within two (2) weeks from today.

5.2.

Thereupon, the respondent/MCD shall consider the regularisation application of the petitioner after giving him a hearing. 5.3.

The respondent/MCD shall pass a speaking order on the regularisation application of the petitioner.

6.

No coercive action shall be taken against the property of the petitioner while the petitioner's regularisation application is being considered by the respondent/MCD.

7.

Needless to state that in case the petitioner is aggrieved with the decision of the respondent/MCD, the petitioner would be at liberty to seek remedies in accordance with law.
