The present petition has been filed under Sections 29A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of six months. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that rejoinder arguments were advanced by the petitioner/claimant on 24th November, 2025 and revised written submissions have also been filed. It is submitted that the matter was last listed before the Sole Arbitrator on 17th December, 2025 for clarification.

It is further submitted that the mandate of the learned sole Arbitrator expired on 05th December, 2025. Thus, it is submitted that the period from the said date be also regularized.

respondent, who submits that he has no objection to the present petition. 5.

Accordingly, considering the submissions made before this Court, the mandate of the sole Arbitrator is extended for a further period of six months, from today.

Further, the period from 05th December, 2025, till date is also regularized.

The present petition is accordingly disposed with the aforesaid directions.
