The appellant, has joined the proceedings through V.C. and is identified by the IO. Learned counsel for the appellant, on instructions, submits that the appellant does not wish to pursue the present appeal inasmuch as he has already completed the entire sentence imposed upon him and has also paid the fine amount as directed. 2.

As per the nominal roll on record dated 04.09.2025, the appellant has undergone custody for a period of 4 years 9 months and 23 days, and earned remission of 1 year 2 months and 7 days as on 03.09.2025. It is further noted from the nominal roll that the appellant was released from jail on 04.05.2020 upon completion of his substantive sentence and deposit of fine. The record also shows that the appellant is not involved in any other case at present. His jail conduct during incarceration was recorded as satisfactory.
