The petitioner, vide the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) seeks extension of the police protection already provided to him on 24 × 7 basis since and from 04.12.2025 to remain with him at his residence in Sonepat, Haryana as also for ensuring protection during daily travel from his residence to office situated in Pitampura, Delhi.

At the outset, learned ASC for the State submits that the present petition is per se not maintainable, primarily, since the petitioner has already been provided security by way of a Police Security Officer (PSO) The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. who remains present with him for the whole day between 08:00 A.M. to around 07:00 P.M. after due consideration by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) (North-West) himself. He submits that the DCP is also looking into the latest representation made by the petitioner a few days back on 27.12.2025, which, as per instructions, will be decided as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks. 3.

In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner, without adverting to the merits involved, seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to take appropriate steps in accordance with law, if, as and when, required.

As such, the present petition is dismissed as withdraw with liberty as prayed for.
