At the outset, counsel for the respondent no.2 points out that there is a discrepancy in the Special Power of Attorney on the basis of which the present writ petition has been filed.

He points out that the Special Power of Attorney dated 30th March 2024 relates only to pending cases and does not authorise the attorney to file fresh cases on behalf of the petitioner.

In view thereof, counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition in accordance with law. 4.
