% 04.02.2019 Respondent no.2, Ravinder Singh is present in Court. He has been identified by SI Sanjeet Singh of police station Rajouri Garden. Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no.2 submits that he has received the settled amount of Rs.11,50,000/- from the petitioner. Respondent no. 2 says that he has no objection in case FIR No. 192/2008 under Sections 406/420/467/468/471 IPC registered at Police Station Rajour Garden is quashed. It is submitted that disputes arose between the petitioner and

Respondent no.2 in respect of the sale transaction of an immovable property, which have now been resolved inasmuch as the petitioner has paid the settled amount to Respondent no.2.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and Respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
