This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "i. issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ or order or direction to respondents to update the status of petitioner institute and display its name in the list/category of recognised institutions for conducting (D.El.Ed) course with intake of 100 seats (two basic units) on their official website; and/or ii. issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ or order directing respondents to inform affiliating body as well as Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh communicating status of petitioner institution as recognized institution for conducting (D.ELEd) course; and/or" 2.

matter is covered by an order passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.(C) 16450/2025 dated 30.10.2025.

For the said reasons, issue notice to the respondents. 4.

Ms. Malhotra, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent NCTE and states that the matter is covered by the said order in W.P.(C) 16450/2025 dated 30.10.2025.

On instructions, Ms. Malhotra, learned counsel for the respondent NCTE submits that the status of petitioner institution as recognized institution, upon verification, will be updated on the website of the NCTE. 6.

She submits that the needful will be done within a period of two weeks. The statement is taken on record and the respondent NCTE shall remain bound by the same.

In the event, the respondent NCTE finds the petitioner institution is recognized as per its records, necessary communication shall be sent to the affiliating university, as well as, the State authorities within the time period stated hereinabove.

No further orders are called for.

The petition stands disposed of in aforesaid terms. 10.
