O R D E R

This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:

"1. Pass an order for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to the Respondent(s) for wun freezing the account number 0632000195107080 belong to the Petitioner namely, Harjeet Kaur, situated at Punjab National Bank, Tilak Nagar Branch, New Delhi- 110018.

2. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus to the Respondent No. 3 to give his consent for unfreezing of account and also for disclosure of reasons as to why he had interfere in the life of the Petitioner despite giving an oath on the settlement agreement dated 13.08.2024, in the Hon'ble Tis Hazari Court, Delhi.

3. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus to the Respondent The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

No. 1, to convert the said account into single/self account in the name of the Petitioner.

4. Pass an order directing the Respondents to pay a compensation to the tune of Rupees 1,00,000/-(Rupees one Lakh) to the Petitioner on account of mental and financial agony which the Petitioner has suffered because of the overt act(s) of the Respondents..."

The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner and respondent No. 3 were married and have been divorced by a decree of divorce through mutual consent.

The petitioner and respondent No. 3 had a joint account bearing account No. 0632000195107080. As per Annexure-H, the account of the petitioner has been freezed due to complaint made by the respondent No. 3. 4.

Mr. Singh, learned counsel for the respondent No. 3, appears on advance notice and states that respondent No. 3 is divorced and has nothing to do with the petitioner and has no objection to the account being defreezed. He further denies the allegations made in the petition regarding the respondent No. 3 having made any complaint to the bank for freezing the account of the petitioner.

In view of the no objection of the respondent No. 3, Mr. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner, withdraws all allegations made against respondent No. 3 in the present writ petition. 6.

Without getting into the merits of the controversy, since the respondent No. 3 has no objection to the account being de-freezed, the respondent No. 1 is directed de-freeze the petitioner's account bearing No. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
