This is a petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "i. a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ or order or direction to respondents to update the status of petitioner institute and display its name in the list/category of recognised institutions for conducting (D.EI.Ed) course with intake of 100 seats (two basic units) on their official website; and/or ii. issue a writ of mandamus or any other suitable writ or order directing respondents to inform affiliating body as The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. well as Department of Higher Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh communicating status of petitioner institution as recognized institution for conducting (D.EI.Ed) course; and/or"

Mr. Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners, states that only grievance of the petitioner is that the name of the petitioner institute has not been updated as recognized institute by the respondent No.1. 3.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Rupal, counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.1 accepts notice.

On instructions, he states that the status of petitioner institution as recognized institution, upon verification, will be updated on the website of the respondent No.1 and the needful will be done within a period of two weeks.

Thus, in the event, the respondent No.1 finds the petitioner institution is recognized as per its records, necessary communication shall be sent to the affiliating university, as well as, the State authorities within the time period stated hereinabove.

Taking the statement of Mr. Rupal, learned counsel, on record, the petition stands disposed of.
