% 16.02.2017 Appellant and respondent no. 1 have settled their disputes before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre vide Settlement Agreement dated 7th December, 2016. Learned counsel for the respondent no. 1 submits that settled amount has already been received and no dues certificate has been issued.
He submits that he has no objection in case offence under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 ("the Act", for short) is permitted to be compounded. In view of the settlement arrived at between the appellant and respondent no. 1 before the Mediation Centre, offence under Section 135 of the Act is permitted to be compounded. Appellant is
acquitted.
Appeal is disposed of.
