In the facts and circumstances of the case, if we appreciate the prayer made by the petitioner, wherein issuance of directions is sought to the respondent-Commissioner of Customs to release the detained gold of the petitioner upon payment of applicable customs duty and fine, the counsel for the respondent, on instructions, states that within a period of four weeks, the respondent shall be passing an appropriate orders in the matter in the light of the prayer made by the petitioner.

Since the statement is coming on instructions, the same is accepted. 3.
That being so, we dispose of the present petition by directing the respondent to pass an appropriate order in the light of the prayer of the petitioner, in any case within a period of four weeks from today, and to communicate the same to the petitioner.
