1. The status report filed on advance copy has been served by the Station House Officer („SHO‟), Police Station („PS‟), Jamia Nagar dated 23rd April, 2018.

2. The status report reveals that on 13th April, 2018 one police official went to Vrindavan along with the complainant to meet the Petitioner‟s wife and children who are residing there. The Petitioner‟s wife in response to the enquiry made by the police stated that she is residing at the present place of her own will and does not wish to return to home. Enclosed with the status report is the hand written statement of the daughter of the Petitioner which has been signed by the Petitioner‟s wife. It appears that the family has separated on account of disputes in the family.

3. It is not, therefore, a case of any illegal detention of the Petitioner‟s wife or their children.
