Applicant herein has been arrested for a case of attempt to murder, arising out of FIR No. 408/2025 dated 29.10.2025, registered at P.S. Maurya Enclave, Delhi under Section 109 (2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). 2023 (corresponding to Section 307 of IPC) 2.
The applicant/ accused-Kavita was arrested on 29.10.2025. 3.
The case was registered on the basis of statement made by the mother of the victim, who claimed that her son had been stabbed by someone. 4.
The injured-Ritik, after being declared fit for statement, stated to the police that he saw some altercation going on between his brother-in-law Sahil and accused-Deepak @ Ganju. He intervened to separate them and later on, Deepak @ Ganju arrived at the spot, along with his nephew Sunny and elder sister-Kavita. threw something in his eyes and accused-Deepak @ Ganju stabbed him with a knife.

The injured remained in hospital for around one week and was discharged on 04.11.2025.

The aspect related to custodial interrogation is already over and the charge-sheet is also likely to be filed shortly. 7.
Admittedly, at the time of her arrest, the applicant was pregnant. Unfortunately, subsequently she suffered miscarriage/abortion. 8.
The applicant is stated to be 33 years of age, with no previous antecedents of any nature, whatsoever.

Keeping in mind the overall facts of the case, applicant is directed to be released on bail on her furnishing a personal bond in a sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one surety of like amount, subject to the satisfaction of learned Trial Court/CMM/Duty Magistrate, with further condition she would not come in contact of injured and other public prosecution witnesses, directly or indirectly.

The application stands disposed of in aforesaid terms. 11.
