Issue notice. Mr. Amol Sinha, learned Additional Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the State. 2.
The petitioner seeks the following reliefs:
"a) Issue a writ of mandamus order directing the respondent no. 1 to 3 for transfer of investigation from local police to DIU Cell, Crime Branch, Special Cell or any other Independent Investigating Agency in respect of various complaints dated 05.11.2024, 31.01.2025, 12.09.2025 and 28.11.2025 made by the petitioner to the local police officials as well as higher police official of Delhi police for committing cheating, fraud, creating forged and fabricated documents by creating a forged signature of the petitioner for getting electricity connection by Mrs. Poonam wife of Shri Anil Kumar Tiwari in connivance with her husband Anil Kumar Tiwari, officials of BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd., witnesses namely Dhruv Singh and Alam Singh Negi and Chandra Pal Singh, Raj Kumar by misrepresenting, misrepresentation and further W.P.(CRL) 102/2026 Page 1 of 3 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
suppression of facts for obtaining conveyance deed from the Delhi Development Authority;
b) direct the respondent no. I to 3 to provide protection to petitioner; c) Pass any other order/s, direction/s which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice."

The petitioner has submitted several communications to the police, including communications dated 05.11.2024, 31.01.2025, 12.09.2025, and 28.11.2025, making various allegations of cheating, fraud, and forgery against his brother, sister-in-law, and others. 4.
It is his contention that despite the complaints pending for a relatively long time, no action has been taken. 5.
Mr. Sinha submits that the matter is under investigation, and according to the Investigating Officer ["IO"], certain documents were required from the petitioner, which were not supplied. Although, Mr. S.K. Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the required documents have already been supplied to the IO, he requests the Court to fix a time when the petitioner will meet the IO and submit any further documents as required.

It is directed that the petitioner will meet the IO on 14.01.2026 at 4:30 PM at Police Station Badarpur. If any further documents are required by the IO, he will indicate the same to the petitioner, who may supply the same.

Mr. Sinha states that the investigation will be completed as expeditiously as possible, and necessary action will be taken. 8.
In view of the above, I do not consider it necessary to transfer the investigation from the local police to any other investigating agency. 9.

him to approach the concerned magistrate under Section 175(3) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.

It is made clear that this Court has not entered upon the merits of the matter, and it is for the respondents and the learned Magistrate, if approached, to take an independent decision in accordance with law. 11.
