The petitioner has been working as a Stenographer, having been recruited by the Union of India. He is presently posted with respondent No.3 - Directorate of Coordination Police Wireless, Ministry of Home Affairs. He has filed this writ petition against the denial of promotion from the grade of Stenographer Grade 'D' to Personal Assistant (PA), and other consequential orders.

petitioner's remedy lies before the Central Administrative Tribunal under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. He clarifies that respondent No.3 is a part of the Ministry of Home Affairs, and no separate notification is required to bring respondent No.3 within the jurisdiction of the Tribunal. 3.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the Tribunal in accordance with law.

The petition, alongwith pending applications, is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforesaid.

This Court has not entered into the rights and contentions of the parties on merits.
