% 17.04.2018 By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that his nephew,Vikram, has passed away and there is no elder member in the family and that he has also to get his two minor children admitted in the school. On a notice being issued a status report has been handed over which is taken on record. As per the status report, petitioner's family comprises of his wife and two minor children. It has been verified that Vikram, the nephew of the petitioner, has passed away on 9th April, 2018. It has also been verified that Vikram's parents have already expired though Vikram has a brother. Considering the fact that the petitioner is the elder in the family, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a W.P.(CRL) 1103/2018
period of two weeks from the date of release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Tihar Jail. Petition is disposed of.
