The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, assailing order dated 05.12.2025, passed by the Special Court, by which respondent No. 1 was directed to register an FIR against the petitioner and his family.

At the very outset, Mr. Amol Sinha, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State, who appears on advance notice, submits that the FIR has already been registered. Copy of the FIR is handed up in Court, and is taken on record.

In view of the aforesaid, Mr. Anand Nandan, learned counsel for the petitioner, seeks permission to withdraw this petition, without prejudice to his rights and contentions.
