The delay in filing the status report is condoned. 2.2.
Copy of the same has been handed-over in Court. 2.3.
The status report is permitted to be taken on record. 3.
In the aforesaid status report it is stated that the subject property was inspected on 10th December 2025, following which a work stop notice was issued. A demolition order was also passed on 1st January 2026, after which demolition action has been taken on 17th February 2026. Photographs showing the demolition action are annexed with the said status report. 4.
Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner is satisfied with the action taken by the respondent no.1/ MCD, and hence, has instructions not to press the present writ petition, any further. 5.
In view thereof, the present writ petition stands disposed of. 6.
All rights, contentions and legal remedies of the private respondents are kept open.
