The present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction against the respondents no.2 and 3/ MCD to remove the unauthorized construction being carried out by the respondents no.12 and 13 by encroaching upon vacant public/ government land.

After hearing the submissions of counsel for the petitioners, it is deemed appropriate that the petitioners make a complaint with the Special Task Force (STF) constituted by the Supreme Court vide orders dated 24th April, 2018 and 18th July, 2018 of the Supreme Court in W.P.(C) 4677/1985 titled M.C. Mehta v. Union of India.

Upon such complaint being made to the STF, the same shall be dealt with in an expeditious manner.

Needless to state, the petitioners would have the right to approach this Court in the event the grievance of the petitioners is not redressed within a reasonable period of time.

The writ petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 6.
All pending applications stand disposed of.
