The application stands disposed of.

Crl.M.C.No.1300/2016 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is the son of the accused in the present case. He appeared before the Trial Court to inform about the ill health of his father and sought exemption. The exemption was granted and on the next occasion, when he appeared and sought exemption, the Trial Court asked him to furnish a surety bond for producing his father on the next date of hearing whereafter

his father expired.

When the accused is not alive, the present petitioner does not have a locus to file the present petition.

Dismissed.
