Petitioner seeks direction/quashing of petitioner?s arrest dated 24.04.2024 in connection with FIR No. 11/2024 of Police Station EOW and seeking to declare the remand order dated 25.04.2024 and all subsequent remand orders as null and void and direct the immediate release of the petitioner.

Learned APP accepts notice and informs that the petitioner has also applied for regular bail before the Court of Sessions where one of the grounds is same as in the present case. According to prosecution it is a clear case of forum shopping.

Learned counsel for petitioner, on instructions, seeks permission to withdraw this petition with liberty to raise same grounds as raised in the present petition before the Court of Sessions.
