This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- "a)issue a writ(s)/order(s)/direction(s) in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent No.1 to act upon the complaint dated 10.10.2025 and reminder letter dated 17.11.2025;

AND/OR b) Direct the Respondent No. 2 to remove the illegal kept water tanks over the roof of the building and remove the AC-outer unit placed in front of balcony, and in common area of the building; AND/OR The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. c) Declare that the Petitioner has suffered due to inaction of the Respondent Authority in dealing the complaint dated 10.10.2025;."

The case of the petitioner is that the respondent No. 2 had installed his water-tanks on the roof area of the petitioner and the outer unit of an air-conditioner in the balcony of the petitioner and another in the common area of the building, despite requests to remove the same. 3.

Further, the respondent No. 1 i.e., Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is not responding to the complaints of the petitioner dated 10.10.2025 and reminder dated 17.11.2025 regarding removal of the said water tanks and outer units of air-conditionerof the respondent No.2.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Chadha, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No.1.

The respondent No.1 shall dispose of the complaint dated 10.10.2025 and reminder dated 17.11.2025 filed by the petitioner expeditiously and in any case not later than 4 weeks from today in accordance with the rules/ bye-laws and governing law.

The respondent No.1 will also give a personal hearing to the petitioner and the respondent No.2 before deciding the complaint of the petitioner.
