HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE NAJMI WAZIRI

% 11.02.2020 This petition seeks modification of the order of the learned Tribunal to the effect that the punishment of stoppage of four increments with cumulative effect be modified to a lesser amount. The learned counsel for the petitioner/DTC submits that it is clearly admitted that the workman had tried only one telephone number, he could have tried the other two telephone numbers so as to intimate or seek instructions from the management. It was always open to him to have tried the other two numbers. It may well be that he forgot the other two numbers. She states that the driver would have been prudent and diligent to have kept the other numbers also at hand.

In view of the detailed order passed today in W.P. (C) 1663/2008, the petition is dismissed.
