% 23.01.2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that certain subsequent developments had taken place, on account of which, the petitioner was constrained to file a comprehensive fresh petition. He submits that fresh comprehensive writ petition being WP(C) 11812/2016 has been filed.

He seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to pursue the said writ petition. In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty as prayed for.
