RC.REV. 225/2016 After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not pressing the petition on merit. He, however, prays for expedition in the trial. This Court has been informed that the trial is at the stage of the plaintiff evidence and the next date fixed in the Trial Court is in the month of July, 2016. The petitioner has only two witnesses and the affidavit by way of evidence of both the witnesses shall be filed on or the date fixed in the Trial Court with advance copy to the non-applicant/tenant and the witnesses shall also

be present in the Trial Court on the next date for their crossexamination. In this factual background, the Trial Court shall endeavour to dispose of the eviction petition within an outer limit of 10 months from the date of July fixed in the matter.

With these directions petition disposed of.
