% 17.04.2018 It is submitted that with the intervention of their common friends and family members, petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably vide Memorandum of Understanding / Compromise Deed dated 22nd November, 2017, therefore, FIR No.281/2014 under Sections 323/354/354B/506/34 IPC registered at police station Jafar Pur Kalan may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by WSI Sudesh of police station NDRS. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
