Applicant seeks regular bail in case FIR No. 0120/2021, registered at Police Station Burari.

Accused has been charged for commission of offences under Sections 498-A/302 IPC.

During course of arguments, learned Addl. P.P. for State, on instructions from investigating officer, intimated that out of 24 cited witnesses, prosecution has already examined 21 witnesses. 4.

Next date before the learned Trial Court is stated to be 16.04.2026. 5.

Learned Addl. P.P. for State submits that there would not be any delay from their side in concluding the recording of evidence of the remaining witnesses. He also submits that in case, there is any witness found to be repetitive in nature, it will be assessed by the concerned learned Prosecutor whether such witness can be dropped or not.

After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for applicant, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, does not press the present application. He, however, seeks direction to learned Trial Court to expedite the disposal of the entire case.

In view of the above, present application is disposed of as not pressed. 8.

All rights and contentions of the parties are reserved. 9.

Learned Trial Court is requested to decide the criminal matter, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date it takes up the matter.

Needless to say, both the sides would render due assistance and co-operation to the learned Trial Court to achieve the aforesaid time-bound disposal.
