Jha, Advs.
versus THE STATE(NCT OF DELHI)& ANR ..... Respondents Through:
Dr. M.P. Singh, APP for State with SI Manish, P.S. Mangol Puri.
Respondent no.2 in person.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 23.04.2018 It is submitted that husband (petitioner) and wife (respondent no.2) have started living together after settling their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No. 190/2013 under Sections 498A/406 IPC registered at police station Mangol Puri may be quashed.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Manish Yadav of police station Mangol Puri. She admits that she is living with petitioner after ironing out their differences, therefore, she does not wish to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping them entangled in criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR
and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of in the above terms.
