% 07.05.2018 Respondent no.2 Savita is present in the court and has been identified by SI Sanjay of police station Ambedkar Nagar.

Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with petitioners of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further says that she is not willing to pursue criminal proceedings against petitioners any further and she has no objection in case FIR No.637/2017 under sections 323/354/354B/451/506/509/34 IPC registered at police station Ambedkar Nagar and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful

purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
