Vide order dated 11th January, 2018, after allowing the application (CM No.20475/2010) seeking condonation of the delay of 7 months 22 days in filing the restoration application, the application filed by the petitioner (CM No.20474/2010) seeking restoration of the writ petition, which was dismissed in default on 27th January, 2010, was allowed and the writ petition was restored to its original number and position subject to the petitioner depositing `5,000/- as costs with Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee within four weeks.

Today learned counsel for the petitioner seeks more time for depositing the costs.

Since the costs of `5,000/- subject to which the petition was restored has not been deposited within the stipulated time or even thereafter no prayer for extension of time to deposit the costs has been made till the matter is taken up today, the petition has to be treated as dismissed.
