W.P.(CRL) 1103/2016 & CRL.M.A.5688/2016 (Stay) Khushi Ram, respondent No.3 in the present petition, who is the father of Preeti @ Afsana, the petitioner herein, is present in the Court today and has been duly identified by HC Abhay Raj, Police Station- Badarpur, Delhi states that he is not averse to the matrimonial alliance between his daughter and Mohd. Asfaq Shah. Khushi Ram has given his blessings to the newly-wed couple and states that he would attempt to establish cordial relations with them so as to keep the family together.

In view of the foregoing, the present petition seeking protection has been rendered infructuous and disposed of accordingly. Pending application also stands disposed of.
