W.P.(C) 2955/2016 & CM No.12357/2016 The petitioner has filed the present petition inter alia seeking quashing of results declared by respondent No.1 on 14.03.2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner applied for the post of Hindi Assistant in Lok Sabha Secretariat/respondent No.2. Pursuant to letter dated 30.11.2015, the petitioner appeared in the examination for the post of Hindi Assistant on 20.12.2015 as physically handicapped candidate. He further submits that despite scoring more marks, his name was not declared successful in the list of selected candidates. He also submits that the
petitioner made representations dated 16.03.2016, 18.03.2016 and 31.03.2016 to respondent No.1, but the same have not been decided so far.
Mr.Pramod Gupta, Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents on advance notice submits that the petitioner's representations dated 16.03.2016, 18.03.2016 and 31.03.2016 shall be decided within a period of one week.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is satisfied with the aforesaid and the petition and application may be disposed of.
In view of the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions made by learned counsel for parties, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of the petition and application with direction that respondent No.1 shall decide the petitioner's representations dated 16.03.2016, 18.03.2016 and 31.03.2016 within a period of one week by passing a speaking order and decision thereof shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter. The petition as well as application stand disposed of. DASTI.
