% 18.07.2016 By this petition, filed under Section 438 of Cr. P.C., the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 1127/2015 under Section 420/467/468/471/34 of IPC registered at Police Station New Usmanpur, Delhi.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation.
Mr. Amit Chadha, Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is not required for the purpose of interrogation.
In view of the aforesaid and considering the fact that the petitioner is of 64 years of age and he is not required for the purpose of custodial interrogation, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner - Rajender Kumar. Accordingly, it is ordered that in the event of arrest, the petitioner - Rajender Kumar be released on bail subject to furnishing his personal bail bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting officer.
However, petitioner - Rajender Kumar is directed to cooperate in the investigation and shall appear before the Investigating Officer as and when required by notice in writing and shall not tamper with the evidence.
With aforesaid directions, the present petition is disposed of. Dasti.
