O R D E R

% 23.04.2018 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent nos. 2 and 3 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No. 172/2015 under Sections 451/354A/506/34 IPC registered at police station Hauz Qazi and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. It is further submitted that Civil Suit No. 97560/2016 pending, between the parties, in the court of Additional Civil Judge, Tis Hazari Court, has also been settled. Respondent no.2 and 3 are present in Court and have been identified by ASI R.K. Sharma of police station Hauz Qazi.

They submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, they have no objection in case FIR and the consequent proceedings are quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
