Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case the Court is inclined to direct expeditious disposal, the petitioner shall not press his bail application for regular bail. He further submits that as per his information, only ten official prosecution witnesses are remaining to be examined.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and also the petitioner has been incarcerated since 03.04.2016, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and make an endeavour to conclude the recording of the evidence by 31.12.2018. 3.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks BAIL APPLN.901/2018
leave to withdraw the petition.

The Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid direction.
