This writ petition seeks the following relief: "a.

Pass an order to regularize the service of the Petitioner with consequential benefits since his initial appointment. b.

Pass an order to regularize the service of the petitioner in the similar way as the Hon'ble High court of Madras has passed in identical matter against the same respondent marked under Annexure P-2." 2.

At the outset, counsel for the Respondents raises a preliminary objection to the maintainability of the present petition on the ground that an efficacious alternative remedy is available to the Petitioner under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, by approaching the Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court.1 3.

In view of the above, counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to 1 "CGIT"
