By the present petition the petitioner seeks regular bail in case FIR No.18/2012 under Sections 9A/21/22/25A of the NDPS Act, registered at PS Special Cell, New Delhi.

The allegations against the petitioner are that on a secret information, a raid was conducted near Randhawa Farm House, Exit Gate No.T-20 NH - 8, where the petitioner along with co-accused were apprehended. On search of the petitioner 152 grams of white crystal substance was recovered from his possession which was found positive for Ephedrine. On further search of the petitioner and the co-accused one loaded pistol with five cartridges were recovered. Pursuant to the disclosure statement of the petitioner, further 91 grams of Ephedrine was recovered from House No.C-94, Sun City, Sector54, Gurgaon, Haryana besides the experimental set up for making „Speed‟ BAIL APPLN. 766/2016

(ICE). Phone calls were also intercepted which evidence has also been produced before the learned Trial Court. Besides, the petitioner is involved in three other cases of which one is of NDPS Act at Jallandhar. 3.

Learned APP for the State further submits that out of 28 witnesses 25 witnesses have already been examined by the prosecution. Thus the trial is at the fag end.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case I do not find it to be a fit case for grant of regular bail to the petitioner. 5.

Petition is dismissed.
