O R D E R

% 04.01.2017 CM Nos. 140/2017 in RFA(OS) 109/2014 Exemption is allowed subject to all just exceptions. CM No.143/2017 in RFA(OS) 102/2014 CM Nos.139/2017 in RFA(OS) 109/2014 1.

The ethos of the order dated May 05, 2016 disposing of the appeals is RFA(OS) 102/2014 & RFA(OS) 109/2014

that by December 31, 2016 the competent authority to hear the appeal under Section 64 of the Delhi Land Revenue Act, 1954 shall decide the same if the appeal is preferred within four weeks of the order dated May 05, 2016 being passed. Status quo granted in the present proceedings was extended till December 31, 2016. Meaning thereby, the status quo had to inure till the appeal was decided.

An appeal each has been filed by the appellants in the above captioned appeals. The competent authority to decide the appeal has not complied with the direction to decide the appeal by December 31, 2016. The next date of hearing in the two appeals is January 10, 2017. 3.

We dispose the two applications extending the status quo till when the two appeals filed by the two appellants are decided by the competent authority. We simultaneously direct competent authority to hold day-to-day hearings and decide the appeals latest by March 31, 2017. 4.

Registry is directed to forward a copy of the present order to the competent authority which has to decide the appeals filed under Section 64 of the Delhi Land Revenue Act, 1954.
