Let the receipt of payment of costs be placed on record. Crl. M.A. No.16159/2016 By this application, the petitioner seeks permission to deposit the amount of Rs.12.50 Lakhs in the name of Registrar General of this Court in terms of the order dated 02.09.2016 by way of a demand draft. Issue notice. Ms. Abraham accepts notice.
For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed. The delay in deposit of the first instalment of Rs.12.50 Lakhs is condoned.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has tendered the original pay order for Rs.12.50 Lakhs drawn in favour of the Registrar General of this Court to the Court Master. The same has been taken in his custody by the Court Master. He is directed to ensure that the same is sent to the office for deposit today itself.
The application stands disposed of.
