% 02.09.2016 The petitioner who is the father-in-law of the complainant seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.51/2016 under Sections 498A/406/354/377/506/34 IPC registered at PS Karawal Nagar. The allegations in the FIR against the petitioner are that the petitioner and his family members were not happy with the wedding despite the complainant's parents having spent huge amount of around `20 lakhs in the wedding. BAIL APPLN. 722/2016
Considering the fact that during investigation it was found out that the petitioner was residing separately from the complainant and the petitioner has already joined the investigation, I deem it fit to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is therefore directed that in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `25,000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/ SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that he will join the investigation as and when directed and will not leave the country without the prior permission of the Court concerned.
Petition is disposed of. Order dasti.
