After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions are issued to the Trial Court for expeditious disposal of the Trial, he would not press his present petition.

In view of the above and keeping in view of the facts that most of the public witnesses have already been examined and only official and police witnesses are remaining to be examined, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses and endeavour to conclude the same by 31.12.2018. 3.
In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed as not pressed but with the aforesaid directions.
