% 27.04.2018 This petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making of the Arbitral Award by the Arbitral Tribunal adjudicating the disputes between the parties in relation to the Prime Service Agreement dated 6th March, 2009.
The reply filed by the respondent is not on record, however, a copy of the same has been handed over by the counsel for the respondent. The Arbitral Tribunal had entered upon the reference on 26th November, 2016 and the arbitral proceedings are at the final stage. Having considered the conduct of the arbitral proceedings by the Arbitral Tribunal and the reply filed by the respondent, I am of the opinion that this is a fit case where the time for making of the Arbitral Award be extended by a
further period of six months w.e.f. 25th May, 2018. The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to cost. NAVIN CHAWLA, J.
