% 25.04.2018 Vide the present petition, the petitioner, who is a student of Respondent No.1/School, has sought a direction to the Respondent No.1 to grant her another opportunity to appear in the compartment examination for the Psychology paper of Class-XI, in which she had failed.

Upon notice being issued in the present petition, Ms.Samiksha Godiyal enters appearance on behalf of Respondent No.1 and submits that, though the petitioner had, like all other similarly placed students, been given adequate time to prepare for the compartment exams, but

still she had failed in Psychology. She however fairly submits that keeping in view the facts of the present case, the school is willing to give another opportunity to the petitioner to appear in the compartment exam for Psychology. She submits that the second compartment exam for the petitioner in the subject of Psychology would be held on 11.05.2018 and the time of the examination would be communicated to the petitioner directly within a period of one week. The petitioner, who is present in Court, undertakes to abide by the result of the compartment examination to be held on 11.05.2018. In view of the fair stand taken by respondent No.1-school, the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition any further. Needless to say that this order has been passed in the peculiar facts of the case and will not act as a precedent. The petition as well as application are disposed of. REKHA PALLI, J APRIL 25, 2018 gm
