% 11.11.2016 Present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 8th September, 2015 passed in W.P.(C) No.8567/2015, whereby the Division Bench of this Court directed the CRPF to undertake a review of the cases of the petitioners and grant ACP/MACP to such of them who are eligible to it in accordance with the terms of the scheme. Today learned counsel for the respondents has handed over a copy of 'Signal' which is a communication sent by the Northern Sector Office to the counsel for the respondents stating that grade pay of Rs.2800/- has been given to all the petitioners except one against whom major penalty has been imposed. She also states that all the petitioners have been communicated a copy of this order.

Though learned counsel for the petitioners states that all the petitioners have not received a copy of the aforesaid order/Signal, yet this Court is of the view that as in majority of the cases, the petitioners have been communicated the aforesaid office order/Signal, the present petition need not be listed any further. Accordingly, the present contempt petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the aforesaid office order/Signal, if they are aggrieved, in accordance with law.
