"In view of the above, this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue and writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction:

a.

Directing the respondent Nos.1 and 2, to immediately pass appropriate orders directing the concerned authorities to restore the electricity connection to the property bearing House No. 368, First Floor, Pana Udyan New Delhi and directing the respondent No.1 to order the restoration of the water supply at the above noted property where the petitioner is currently residing

with his family; and b.

Directing the respondent No.1 to ensure the safety and security of the petitioner and his family from anti social elements, including from the respondent No.3; c.

Directing the initiation of appropriate action as per law against the respondent No.3 for the illegal disconnection of electricity of the petitioner."

It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the electricity has been disconnected by the respondent No.2 at the behest of the respondent No.3. This submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is opposed by the learned counsel for respondent No.3. After hearing the counsel for the parties for sometime, it is agreed by the counsel for the respondent No.3, he shall apply for a fresh connection specially for the first floor where the petitioner is residing by fulfilling all the commercial requirements within three days from today. If that be so, the respondent No.2 shall act upon the application of the respondent No.3 and grant the electricity connection to the petitioner at the first floor of the property where the petitioner is residing. It is also agreed by the counsel for the petitioner and the counsel for the respondent No.3 that the petitioner shall continue to pay the consumption charges directly to the respondent No.2 by way of a cheque in future.

I take on record the statement of the learned counsel for the

respondent No.3, once the electricity connection is restored the problem of water connection shall be automatically solved. Learned counsel for the petitioner states, the aforesaid shall satisfy the grievance of the petitioner in this petition and the petition is disposed of. Ordered accordingly.
