W.P.(Crl) 1090/2016 Counsel for the petitioner submits that daughter of the petitioner who was married on 05.02.2016 has left her matrimonial home and is missing since 15.03.2016. The respondents 4, 5, 6 have been arrayed as parties as, according to the petition, respondent no.4 is involved in the disappearance of her daughter. On service of an advance copy to the State, the daughter of the petitioner Nisha has been produced in Court.

We had taken up the matter in the Chamber and

interacted with Nisha as also her father, who was present in Court. Nisha submits that she has left her matrimonial home voluntarily and of her own free will and she is residing with respondent no.4. She submits that she was forced into marriage on 05.02.2016. Nisha is a major which is not disputed. In view of the statement made by Nisha, the petitioner and father of Nisha submit that they would not like to have any relationship with her. The petition is dismissed as not pressed.
